Privacy Policy
Your tasks and action records stay on your device. This policy explains local data, Apple purchases, and information you choose to send to support.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to NoDelay (Chinese name: 我不要拖延, the “App”), its widgets, and its companion Apple Watch app. The App helps you start with a small task through task management, a three-minute starting timer, action records, and encouraging phrases.
The App requires no account, displays no advertising, does not track you across apps, and does not collect usage data through third-party analytics or crash-reporting services. The developer does not maintain a cloud account for your tasks and does not sell or rent your personal information.
2. Data on Your Device
The following data is processed on your device to provide the corresponding features and is not uploaded to the developer’s servers:
| Data | Purpose | Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Task information | Task titles you enter, identifiers, current selection, completion status, and completion dates are used to display and manage tasks. | Stored in local app data. |
| Action records | Start times and associated task identifiers are used to calculate starts, completed tasks, and active days. | Stored and summarized on your device. |
| Encouraging phrases and widget settings | Selected phrases, language, and rotation position are used to display content in the App and its widgets. | Shared locally between the App and its widgets on the same device. |
| Membership status | Product identifiers, membership type, validity dates, and the latest verification time are used to confirm purchase entitlements. | Purchase status comes from Apple; necessary entitlement information is cached locally. |
The App currently offers no cloud synchronization of tasks or action records and does not synchronize these records between iPhone and Apple Watch. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in task titles.
3. Apple Purchases and Backups
Membership purchases
The App uses Apple’s in-app purchase service for membership purchases and purchase restoration. It reads Apple-verified transactions and subscription status to confirm products, validity, and revocations. Apple handles payment; the developer does not receive your full payment card details or Apple Account password.
Apple may independently process download, purchase, device, and diagnostic information and provide sales, usage, or diagnostic reports to developers. See Apple’s App Store & Privacy notice.
Device backups
If you enable iCloud Backup or back up your device to a computer, the system may include local app data in the backup. Your device settings and Apple’s services control backups; the developer cannot access their contents. See Apple’s explanation of iCloud Backup.
4. System Permissions
The current App does not request access to location, contacts, photos, the camera, microphone, health data, advertising tracking, or notifications. Task management, timing, and local action records do not require these permissions.
Widgets use only the encouraging-phrase settings shared by this App and do not read content from other apps.
5. Information You Send to Support
If you email us, we receive your email address and any name, issue description, device information, or attachments you choose to provide. We use this information only to respond, investigate issues, and handle your request, not for advertising tracking.
Your email service and our email provider process these messages. We retain support information only as long as needed to handle your request, follow up, and meet necessary legal obligations. You may email us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided; we will explain any legally required retention in our response.
Remove unrelated personal information from attachments before sending them. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or full payment details.
6. Retention and Deletion
- Local tasks, action records, and settings remain on your device until you delete data through the available controls or delete the App from your device.
- You can delete unfinished tasks from the task list. Deleting a task does not also remove existing start records.
- To remove all local app data, choose “Delete App” in iPhone Settings. “Offload App,” which retains documents and data, does not clear these records.
- Deleting the App does not automatically delete existing device backups, cancel Apple subscriptions, or delete Apple’s transaction records. Manage backups and subscriptions separately through Apple’s settings.
The developer has no copy of your tasks or action records and cannot recover deleted local records for you. Restoring a device backup may restore the app data included in that backup.
7. Security and Your Controls
The App uses the system’s app sandbox and shared widget storage to save data. Keep your system updated, protect your device with a screen lock, and manage backups and shared-device access carefully. No electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.
You can view tasks and action records, change task completion status, and choose encouraging phrases in the App. You can also manage local data and backups through system settings. Contact us by email with privacy requests about information you have chosen to send to the developer.
If a parent or guardian believes a minor has sent personal information in a support email that should not be retained, they can contact us for assistance.
8. Language Settings on This Website
The Privacy Policy and Support pages save your language choice in your browser’s local storage for future visits. Page scripts do not send this preference to the developer. You can remove it by clearing website data in your browser.
These two pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts and load no third-party fonts. When you visit them online, your browser still sends the hosting service the network information needed to load the page, such as an IP address. Apple links and email links lead to services that process information under their own policies.
9. Policy Updates and Contact
If the App’s data practices change, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date. For new features requiring your permission, we will explain the relevant processing and request the necessary permission before enabling them.
For privacy questions or data requests, email liyong.bj@hotmail.com.
